Three dead and five wounded in attack in Donetsk, Ukraine

Three people were killed and five were injured on Saturday in the Donetsk region, the head of the Ukrainian military administration in the region, Vadim Filashkin, said via the Telegram channel.

Three of the deaths occurred in the town of Ulakly, about 60 kilometers west of Donetsk, according to Filashkin, who did not provide further details about the casualties, which Kyiv authorities attributed to Russia.

“Since the beginning of the Russian army’s invasion of Ukraine, on February 24, 2022, 1,999 people have been killed and 5,029 wounded in the Donetsk region,” local news agency Ukrinform reported on a day when the Ukrainian military said it recorded 74 Russian attacks in various locations front lines.

These attacks, Ukrinform reports, were concentrated in different areas of the Yarkov and Donetsk regions.
