The American shooter forced the extra time with a triple over the horn which confirmed the activation of the Vitorians, who ceded the offensive prominence to Markus Howard, author of 8 three-point shots out of 12 attempted.
Matt Costello with 23 credits and Rockas Giedraitis with 21 they seconded Howard in a duel in which the locals were close to bleeding to death with the superb performance of Zach Leday (23 points and 10 rebounds) and Mathias Lessort (19 points and 12 rebounds), in addition to the 26 points of Kevin Punter .
The visitors put the locals in trouble until two three-pointers by Rokas Giedraitis gave Joan Peñarroya’s team oxygen. However, Baskonia’s offensive rebound and counter-attack losses left Partizan ahead with a 14-23.

The Baskonia striker scored another five crucial points to put Baskonia ahead after a good Serbian start in extra time and Matt Costello put the finishing touches for Barça’s second victory in the Euroleague, 103-96.
