For the 2022/23 season, Sporting recorded a consolidated profit of €25.2 million. This number is stated in a document sent this Friday to members who CM had access and which will be discussed and voted on at the General Assembly (AG) scheduled for the 30th of this month.
When professional football, sports and related companies are added, Sporting ended last season with assets of €315.9 million and liabilities of €376.6 million. However, the billing hole of €60.7 million is lower than the €86 million recorded a year earlier. The sporting achievements reached “records in membership fees” (€10.4 million) and merchandising revenues (€9.2 million).
The club’s budget for the 2024/25 season (not including professional football) will also be voted on next week, with expectations of finishing the season with a profit of €132,000. The goal is to reach 7,750 practitioners (up from 7,357 in April), of whom 6,800 will be paying. These forms are expected to generate €3.2 million.
