In the second half, Martinez relied on a change of squad with the arrival of Pedro Neto and Ruben Neves and the departure of Joao Palinha and Rafael Lean. In the 82nd minute, Antonio Silva replaced Pepe. Joao Neves comes to the rescue of the Portuguese team in the 88th minute.
The national team coach announced a change from the eleven in the last match against the Czech Republic.
For the match with Turkey, which began at 17:00 at the Signal Iduna Park stadium, the coach released Fulham midfielder Joao Palinha, who replaced defender Diogo Dalot. Portugal should revert to a back four line with two centre-backs instead of the three they played in the first Euro 2024 match.
