In the coming days, new developments should occur on the left flank of Porto’s defense. Wendell may be sold, and his place will be taken by the Spaniard Juan Miranda.
The Brazilian is competing for his team in the Copa America and his contract expires next year. This indoor season will be one of the last opportunities to make money with a 30-year-old player who has a market. Juventus have already shown interest in signing the left-footed player, whose salary for SAD is around 2.5 million euros gross per year.
Even if Wendell doesn’t leave Dragao this summer, the signing of another left-back should definitely happen. Juan Miranda, the Spaniard who is out of contract at Betis, is the most attractive target: he has high quality and represents zero investment to sign.
The player is happy with the possibility of moving to Dragao, but continues to listen to offers, since one of his main goals at 24 is to play in the Champions League (FC Porto did not qualify).
