The Commission for the Protection of Children and Youth (CPYC) left the seven-year-old girl in the care of her paternal uncle, whom prosecutors recently accused of 360 rapes. After the child broke his silence, the case began to be investigated.
Due to serious family problems, in 2018, KPC Felgueiras decided that the child should live with his uncle. He was lonely, but de facto lived in a relationship with a woman and seemed to be able to provide the girl with a stable life.
According to the prosecution, “from Monday to Friday,” the accused entered the victim’s room early in the morning, while everyone was sleeping, to touch her body and undress her.
The sex attacker, prosecutors allege, used physical force to rape his niece, and at the end of the first assault, he told her she had to remain silent if she did not want to suffer the consequences. The threats continued for two years while the victim lived with the defendant. Despite the crimes causing pain, disgust and vomiting, the minor was unable to report her uncle. During the sexual assault, he even received an injury to his intimate area, but he never complained.
It was in 2020 that the girl began to have the opportunity to spend the night on weekends at her mother’s house. A month after he began living according to this regime, he told his mother everything, and the case began to be investigated.
