A young man in his 20s died after being stabbed on Wednesday afternoon in Faro.
According to PSP, the crime occurred at 6:30 p.m. on a road near the municipal swimming pools following a “dispute between citizens.”
Red Cross and VMER INEM teams also carried out resuscitation efforts on the young man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Several PSP agents, including members of the police special unit, were called in to ensure the site was secure while awaiting the removal of the body by funeral van.
The judicial police were called in to investigate and conducted a search of the surrounding area.
