The PSP detained five people and confiscated more than 6,000 individual doses of hashish and 7,661 euros in the Cruz de Pau area in Matosinhos, Porto district, police said this Thursday.
The PSP statement explained that the detainees, men aged between 19 and 36 years old living in Matosinhos, will now undergo their first judicial interrogation.
In addition to 6,096 individual doses of hashish, officers also seized 238 doses of cocaine and 66 doses of amphetamine.
During the police drive against drug trafficking in the area, which took place at 3:30 pm on Wednesday, the SSP also confiscated a vehicle, several sharp weapons and digital scales from the suspects.
The investigation included the execution of three arrest warrants, as well as seven home searches and one off-site search, he said.
