A 24-year-old man was arrested and identified by the judicial police in Lousada on suspicion of rape, computer fraud and debauchery of the private life of an 18-year-old woman with whom the suspect had a relationship.
According to the SP statement, the detainee and the victim met at the end of 2023, and since then began interacting through social networks, “exchanging intimate photos and meeting in person several times.”
In early 2024, the 18-year-old wanted to end his relationship with the defendant, but he insisted that they have one last sexual relationship. However, the victim refused, and the man forced her to continue the sexual act, threatening to reveal intimate content in his possession.
“This pressure led to the victim agreeing to a further sexual encounter, which the accused unlawfully recorded on video and through which he continued to coerce her into continued sexual participation, resorting to creating a false social media profile to reveal intimate content. some of the victim’s contacts,” the note said.
The victim filed a complaint with the authorities, who managed to collect evidence of the crimes. The young man, who has a criminal record for similar crimes, will be interrogated for the purpose of applying coercive measures.
