The report states that Porto have a bid in hand from Olympiacos for David Carmo but are still resisting selling the centre-back. CM.
The Greek club were pleased with the performance of David Carmo (he played 20 games since arriving in Athens at the end of January, becoming an undisputed starter in the Conference League-winning team).
However, Greek leaders have made it clear that they will not activate the €17 million call option clause provided at the time of the loan.
The latest offer submitted by Olympiakos is for an advance payment of 12 million euros (exactly the market price of the Angolan international), with the target amount possibly reaching 15 million euros.
That’s 3 million euros, which, you know what CMare crucial from Porto’s point of view. On the one hand, the sale of David Carmo for 12 million euros does not provide any accounting added value.
On the other hand, an immediate 15 million euros covered the cost of passing Francisco Conceicao (10.5 million euros) and helped acquire Mika Faye (the Barcelona player is a welcome reinforcement for the center of defense).
Seven preseason games
Porto announced pre-season games in July: Varzim (6th place), D. Chaves (10th place) and Nacional (13th place) behind closed doors; Al Arabi (16), Austria Vienna (19) and Sturm Graz (23) on stage in Austria. The opponent for the presentation on Dragao (28) will be announced later.
Vitor Roque is in high demand
Vitor Roque, the Barcelona striker who has been targeted as a loan target for Porto, has other suitors. Fiorentina has intensified contacts with the Catalans with a view to making a transfer.
