Kouhaib Drioueche, a 22-year-old Moroccan winger, is again on Sporting’s radar to strengthen their attack. The player from Excelsior in the Netherlands is also wanted by three other clubs: Glasgow Rangers (Scotland), Lens (France) and PSV (Netherlands).
Drioues is right-footed but can play on either the left or right flank. Born in the Netherlands, he is a Moroccan national and is a member of the country’s U23 team. Last season, he scored eight goals and made seven assists in 33 games for Excelsior, who were relegated to the second division. His market value is €4 million.
According to Foot Mercato, Sporting and PSV are the clubs best placed to secure the winger’s signature, as they have already carried out “significant field work” to secure reinforcements.
