Ruiz’s inspiration earns Aroque three points

Aroca beat Santa Clara this Saturday thanks to a great goal from Alan Ruiz. The triumph of Armando Evangelista’s team, which is in a calm position, exacerbates the crisis in the results of Santa Clara, which has not won for seven games and has fallen further in the standings.

After the co-dominance phase, the real scoring opportunities only appeared in the last stretch of the 1st half. Gabriel Silva heads in on purpose and Aroca responds with two good shots from Alan Ruiz and Dabbagh.

In the 2nd half, Alan Ruiz returned from the locker room inspired and built an individual move that decided the outcome of the game. Dabbagh also tried his leg, but VAR disallowed the goal due to offside. The Azores reacted and moved forward, but the Arukenians had only to bring their advantage to the end and secure three points.
