The rescue team found the boy alive, lying in his mother’s arms, among the rubble in Turkey.
Rescuers said they were talking to Leyla, the boy’s mother. Heavenly News.
“We were looking for a woman, we know that there is a woman and a child, and when we approached him, it became obvious that we were talking to a child,” paramedic Jonathan Russo said.
After much effort during the night, the group managed to contact the boy, who told them that his name was Rizwan and that he was nine years old.
On the surface, volunteers called for silence so as not to frighten the child, and Rizvan was pulled out of the concrete pit.
After five days in the ruins, in his mother’s arms, Rizwan was dehydrated and part of his body was crushed. The boy was immediately taken to the hospital.
Rizwan’s mother did not survive. The teams were unable to rescue her in time.
