Main Route 3 (IP3) in Santa Comba Dão is restricted due to asphalt works and traffic is being diverted via Estrada Nacional 2 (EN2), Infraestruturas de Portugal announced today.
“Infraestruturas de Portugal reports that it is carrying out IP3 installation work between the Santa Comba Dão and Treixedo nodes and it is necessary to condition the traffic using traffic redirection via EN2.”
In a press release sent to Lusa, IP specifies that from 08:00 to 18:00 today until Wednesday, a crossing will be carried out between the Santa Comba Dão intersection and the Treixedo intersection in the direction of Coimbra-Viseu.
In the opposite direction, Viseu-Coimbra, on the same kilometres and between the same interchanges, the interchange will start at 08:00 on Thursday and end at 18:00 on Friday.
The IP also states that, as an alternative to IP3, traffic should be routed via Estrada Nacional 2 (EN) with proper signage of detours.
“We ask for a better understanding of the inconvenience and inconvenience that these situations may cause, confident that we are contributing to improving the security conditions of the infrastructure and, above all, its users.”
