In addition to the shooter, the fatalities include a man and a woman. Two other women were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A security perimeter was established at the site, with dozens of rescue vehicles and two rescue helicopters deployed.
The crime took place near a recreation area with a swimming pool, in a residential area, and authorities asked residents not to leave the area.
