Gas station attendant loses his way while trying to stop fuel theft

An employee of the CEPSA petrol station on Rua Chaves de Oliveira in Porto was hit on Wednesday evening while trying to stop a car whose occupants had filled several barrels with fuel and fled. The alarm was raised at 8:40 p.m.

The three suspects arrived at the station, stopped, filled several canisters of fuel, placed them in the car, and prepared to leave without paying. At that point, an employee noticed and attempted to stop the thieves. The suspects made several escape maneuvers, even attempting to get away from the victim, but eventually ran him over.

The employee was injured and was treated at the scene by firefighters and taken to the San Joao Hospital, but after morning Post As it turned out, there is no threat to his life. The suspects are hiding. PSP is taking steps to try to identify them.
