Osasuna returns to the path of victory defeating Espanyol (1-0)

Euskaraz irakurri: Osasuna garaipenaren bidera itzuli da Espanyol garaituz (1-0)

Osasuna has signed this Thursday a valuable victory at the expense of Espanyol by 1-0 to put behind his negative streak of four days without winning thanks to the solitary goal of a Ante Budimir who premiered his scoring account in this course.

Summary of the match Osasuna – Espanyol (1-0)

The offensive eleven announced by Osasuna presaged a rojillo team launched on the attack to forget as soon as possible the bad streak of results and play that those from Arrasate were going through.

The first stages of the match were dominated by the locals under the baton of Moi Gómez.

Osasuna got stuck when they reached the rival area, but Abde’s imagination and dedication almost gave the parakeets a scare. The player on loan from Barcelona got away from several players until he stepped on the area, his shot being deflected for a corner by the defense.

Diego Martínez’s men did not find their football, but they were able to go into the break with a greater prize than the draw. Leandro Cabrera was able to silence El Sadar, but his header was intercepted by Aitor Fernández.

In the second half Osasuna was more plugged in and involved, and that’s where the goal came from. The rojillos took a short corner for Abde. The Moroccan centered towards Budimir for the Croatian to head the chance towards the net. The battering ram premiered this season.

The goal launched those from Arrasate. Abde created danger whenever he took the ball, Aimar was calm enough and Chimy Ávila came off the bench to play the lead.

Joselu had the equalizer in his boots, but Aitor dived well down to take out the shot of the former Alavés player with his feet. The parakeets warned at a time of the game in which the chances were happening by both.

Finally, Osasuna returned to winning ways after more than a month of poor results that tarnished the image of a team that drew attention during the league start.
