The Biscayan Jon Rahm has closed this Sunday its participation in the 152nd edition of the British Open golf with his best round, 68 strokes (-3) for a total of 1 under par (283)six behind the American Xander Schauffelewho has won the tournament with a card of 9 under par.
The player from Barrika saved his best for last, but the gap to the leaders of the tournament was already too great on the Scottish Royal Troon course.
This Sunday, he competed the fourth and final round with three birdies in a row on the first three holes, and added another on the 7th to put himself at -4.
But on the second nine holes, Rahm has gotten stuck, he has made bogey at 11 and finished with seven straight pars for 68 strokes (3 down).
