Medialivre ended the first half of this year with a profit of 1.9 million euros, the company, which owns Negócios, CMTV, NOW, Correio da Manhã, Sábado and Record, said in a statement on Monday.
Turnover at the end of June was 36 million euros, while operating expenses remained at 30 million.
The operating result measured by EBITDA amounted to EUR 5.8 million, corresponding to an EBITDA margin of 16.2%.

“Medialivre is developing a new project using these radios, which will be introduced to the market in due course,” the statement said.
“This first semester demonstrates the momentum that Medialivre wants to create in the national media market. We believe that the media sector is a fundamental sector for Portuguese society and the strengthening of our democracy,” says Luis Santana, CEO of Medialivre, mentioned in the statement. .
