The platform that brings together five nurses’ unions announced today that the Ministry of Health has withdrawn the proposal it submitted on salary tables and that it still needs to analyse the counter-proposal submitted by the union structures.
“The ministry’s withdrawal of the proposal represents, first of all, an admission of the mistake it made in presenting a proposal that offended the class,” the president of the Nurses’ Union (SE) told Luse after today’s negotiating meeting.
According to SE, the proposal presented at the beginning of the month by the ministry of Ana Paula Martins to increase the salary by 52 euros for all those who move for the first time to the category of nurse, specialist nurse or nurse manager was considered unacceptable by the union platform.
