Nadia Erastorbe and Joan Duru has obtained the Olympic diploma in surfing after falling in the quarterfinals.
The Zarautz native defeated the Japanese Matsuda Shino and qualified for the quarter-finals, where she fell to the Brazilian Tatiana Weston-WebbMeanwhile, the surfer from Baiona was unable to beat the Frenchman Kauli Vaast.

HOCKEY GRASS:
The Basques Chefo Basterra and Rafa Vilallonga, members of the Spanish national team, were defeated by the Netherlands with a final score of 5-3. Spain thus finished the group stage in fourth position and will play the quarter-finals.

Esther Briz has obtained an Olympic diploma in coxless pair, together with Aina Cid, by winning the B final. Briz and Cid finished the competition in seventh position.

BASKETBALL (3×3):
Biscayan Gracia Alonso has achieved victory with Spain against Australia by 17-21. Thus, the Spanish team has put an end to a streak of two consecutive defeats.
On the other hand, Lapurdi player Hortense Limouzin, lost the match against Germany with the French team by 21-30.
