A 35-year-old man, described as involved in the medium-sized cocaine trade, was arrested by Leiria Judicial Police at the scene of the crime when he entered a hiding place he used to store the drug.
The alleged drug dealer, who is in pre-trial detention, had been under investigation for several months and “controlled the storage of significant quantities of cocaine at several locations,” police have found. CM with the judicial police of Leiria.
One of the hideouts was located in a “wooded rural area” in the parish of the municipality of Alcobaça, where the suspect was caught by investigators last Friday.
1,200 doses of cocaine, three digital scales, 4,600 euros and two mid-range/high-end cars were seized.
