Video shows tourists clashing with a group of men in central Porto

A video circulating on social media shows two Swedish tourists being attacked in the Almeida Garrett square, next to the Sao Bento station, in Porto. The clashes took place early on Friday evening and are being investigated by the PSP.

For what? Morning mail It turns out the two men were approached by a group of people trying to sell them counterfeit drugs.

According to witnesses, the suspects tried to rob the victims, who resisted and were attacked.

The clashes were witnessed by dozens of people moving through the centre of Porto on Friday evening, as well as drivers stopped at traffic lights.

Images also show other people trying to break up the fight as the suspects flee.

THAT Morning mail contacted PSP, who is aware of the video and is investigating.
