This Wednesday, Benfica officially announced Neres’ departure to Napoli. The deal will bring the Eagles an immediate €28 million and could reach €30 million if certain targets are met.

Sport Lisboa e Benfica – Futebol, SAD (Benfica SAD) announces that it has reached an agreement with SSC Napoli SpA for the sale of all rights to player David Neres for a sum of 28,000,000 euros (twenty-eight million euros), plus a variable fee linked to the objectives, which means that the total transfer amount could reach 30,000,000 euros (thirty million euros).
It is further noted that SSC Napoli SpA will have the right to retain the solidarity mechanism of 5% for subsequent distribution among the clubs that participated in the player’s training, while Benfica SAD will charge an intermediary fee of 10% of the sale price, deducted from the solidarity amount.”
