This Thursday, Sporting Braga overturned the result and beat Austria’s Rapid Vienna 2-1 in the first leg of the regular Europa League playoffs.
Playing with a numerical advantage from the second minute of the match, due to Grgic’s direct red card, Braga’s team still found themselves at a disadvantage after Burgstaller put the visitors ahead in the 25th minute.
Minho’s side responded and equalised in the first half through Vitor Carvalho in the 33rd minute and Zalazar in the 71st minute, completing the turnaround and guaranteeing Arsenaliste’s triumph.
The return leg of this match is scheduled for a week later in Vienna, with the winner going to the Europa League.
