Hatayspor, the club of former Porto player Christian Atsu, reacted this Saturday to death of a Ghanaian player who on the same day was found lifeless under the rubble left by the earthquakes that shook Turkey on 6 February.
“Our Feelings” began with the writing of the Turkish formation.
“The funeral of our player Christian Atsu, who died under the rubble, will be held in his hometown in Ghana. We won’t forget you, Atsu. Peace be upon you, beautiful man. There are no words to describe our sadness. Rest in peace,” can be read in the Twitter post.
Hatayspor also mourned the death of Onur Akdeniz, one of the club’s employees.
Atsu, remember, has been missing since February 6th.
