The PNR arrested a 52-year-old woman for robbery, kidnapping, fraud and burglary of a residential building in the municipality of Almada. The vast majority of the crimes were committed in the localities of Charneca de Caparica and Sobreda. The suspect was identified and located after several complaints and was detained outside the crime scene.
At a hearing in the Almada Court of Justice, she was ordered to appear at her local police station every three weeks. She was charged with seven crimes.
The operation that led to his arrest took place on Tuesday, during which three mobile phones and 140 euros in cash were seized.
In a statement, the GNR said that “with the arrest of the suspect, a large number of illegal activities in the municipality of Almada were stopped, causing social alarm.”
