Triumph with a moment of genius

Famalicao won their third game in as many games, beating Boavista 1-0 at home yesterday. The chess team suffered their second defeat in a row.

Famalisens took the lead in the 6th minute thanks to a brilliant moment from Gustavo Sa. The young midfielder back-heeled a cross from Francisco Moura and beat João Gonçalves. Boavista tried to respond to the deficit, but did not create any danger before the break.

In the 2nd half, Reizinho even threatened to equalize the score from a free kick, but in response, Zaidu almost made the score 2:0, if not for the good intervention of João Gonçalves. In the 80th minute, Zlobin, defending, did not allow a goal to Bruno Onyemaeka, and soon after, to João Barros. Judging by what they managed to do after the break, Bessa’s team justified the draw, but a sensational goal by Gustavo Sa decided the difference in the competitive game.
