Sporting de Braga beat Moreirense 3-1 this Sunday in the third round of the First Football League, a result that allows the Arsenalists to isolate themselves in fourth place, while Moreirense suffered their first defeat.
The Braga team, who won their second game in a row, took the lead in the first half thanks to Gabri Martinez, 43, Moreirense, who had won two games in the first two rounds, equalized thanks to Azue, 53, who had a ‘ Zalazar’s double at 56 and 76 gave Sporting de Braga the trump card.
The win moved Sporting Braga into fourth place in the I League with seven points, two behind the top trio of Sporting, Porto and Famalicao, while Moreirense dropped to seventh place with six points.
