In an interview with TVI, Pinto da Costa was asked about his current relationship with Luis Filipe Vieira after it was once suggested that the former Eagles president had “sponsored” a book by Carolina Salgado that targeted the now former FC Porto leader’s critics.
“We get along well. I have forgiven Luis Felipe. [Vieira] and today I am fine with him, without any resentment,” Pinto da Costa said in an excerpt from an interview recently published by TVI.
The former president of FC Porto also spoke about the relationship between Sergio Conceição and Vitor Bruno. “Sergio Conceição felt betrayed. The day before [o Vítor Bruno] I told him that I was going abroad and then, according to the president, Antero Henrique had already contacted him a month ago to become the coach of FC Porto,” Pinto da Costa said.
The General Assembly on November 13 was also the topic: “A strange thing happened: three prosecutors, members of FC Porto, controlled the General Assembly. It ended at 2am, and the next day at 10am, the prosecutor’s complaint about the events that had taken place was already used by this group in collaboration with the justice system.”
