Fabio Vieira has been confirmed as Porto’s reinforcement for the season on loan from Arsenal. It was made official moments ago when president Andre Villas-Boas sponsored the 24-year-old striker’s return to Dragao after two seasons with the Gunners.
Fabio Vieira will play for Porto until the end of this season and then return to Arsenal as the deal does not include an option to buy.
Trained at Porto, the striker won two Portuguese titles and the Portuguese Cup, as well as the Youth League with Porto’s U19 team. Fábio Vieira has 76 caps and 10 goals for the Dragons.
The winger became the third new face to join Vitor Bruno’s side, following Deniz Gul and Samu Omorodion.
