The San Sebastian man Ander Strains has been defeated in the round of 32 of table tennis along with his partner Jorge Cardona. Despite taking the first game (11-9), the Brazilians Luis Filipe Manara and Claudio Massad have turned the game around and have won the following games by 9-11, 9-11 and 6-11, for a final result of 1-3 in favor of Brazil.
Even so, Cepas will continue competing starting next Tuesday, September 3, in the modality individual.
