The 37-year-old woman lost her baby at six months of pregnancy after she lost blood and was sent home by a doctor at the emergency department of Cascais Hospital.
On August 16, Diana Oliveira “experienced heavy bleeding and discharge” and went to the hospital’s emergency room. The doctor performed an ultrasound and found that “the baby was fine, but was already able to be born and had a descended placenta,” he said. Morning mail The father, Welton Benfica, stressed that, other than the ultrasound, the doctor “did not observe or examine” the woman. This will be the couple’s first child.
