Striker Konrad Harder has already been registered by Sporting in the Club League, which this Monday, by 6pm, received a total of 48 new player registrations on the last day of the football transfer market.
The Dane was officially unveiled by the Lions this afternoon and is already on a list of 35 players registered with the body that oversees professional football between 12.30pm and 6pm, joining 13 athletes registered in the morning.
In addition to the 19-year-old Nordsjælland player, the national champions’ squad also included 21-year-old striker Francisco Canario and 20-year-old defender David Moreira, who were both playing for the under-23 team at the time.
Among the so-called big three, besides Sporting, only Benfica after 12:30 made another registration of midfielder Meite, who was loaned to PAOK (Greece) last season and is due to be transferred again to another club.
Sporting Braga have signed Samba Diatara, while Vitoria de Guimarães have extended the contract of Francisco Ribeiro from the B team and signed youngster Rodrigo Neto from Rio Ave.
Back in the I League, Arouca signed Luma, a former Porto player who played for Al-Raed (Saudi Arabia) last season, while Estrela da Amadora registered the international transfer of Gustavo Valdiveso.
Striker Ahmed Hassan was signed by Rio Ave, who also extended the contract of Jonathan Panzo, Gil Vicente signed Pablo Jesus on a temporary basis and Santa Clara signed Caio Ribas to an under-23 contract.
Between 12:30 and 18:00, Estoril Praia extended the contract of Amadou Hashimi and added Jordan Holsgrove to the squad, Famalicao signed Rafa Soares from PAOK (Greece), and ABC signed Gustavo Assuncao from Famalicao.
During this period, the clubs of the II League registered 18 players, among which Mafra stands out with four registrations, followed by Portimonense with three, Leixões, Penafiel, Academico de Viseu and Alverca, all with two registrations between 12:30 and 18:00, while Vizela, Oliveirense and União de Leiria registered one player each.
The Club League plans to release two more updates on the registration process on the final day of the market, around 10pm, and “as soon as possible” after the market closes, at 11:59pm.
