On Tuesday, the Portuguese team will continue their preparations for their Football Nations League debut, which will take place on Thursday at the reception in Croatia, with another training session at the Cidade de Futebol, initially with Bruno Fernandes.
On Monday, when work began, the Manchester United midfielder missed the session due to flight delays between England and Portugal and did not arrive in the Oeiras area on time.
The meeting is scheduled for 6pm this Tuesday in Portugal, with the first 15 minutes open to the media, and at the Cidade do Futebol, where Bruno Fernandes is expected to be present.
Earlier at 17:00, a player whose name has not yet been announced will speak to journalists at a press conference in the same place.
The team’s first training session before the clash with Croatia included newcomers Renato Veiga, Thiago Santos and Kenda, as well as returning Trincao, Pedro Gonçalves and goalkeeper Rui Silva, the latter two being options for the first time from selector Roberto Martinez.
The fourth edition of the Nations League will begin with Portugal hosting Croatia at the Estadio da Luz in Lisbon on Thursday before facing Scotland at the same stadium three days later, with both games kicking off at 7.45pm.
The national team is in Group A1, which also includes Poland, as well as the Croatians and the Scots.
Portugal won the inaugural Nations League in 2019 but then failed to reach the Final Four in 2020/21 and 2022/23.
