Sporting have just officially announced Konrad Harder as their latest addition: the 19-year-old striker has signed a contract valid until 2029, protected by an 80 million euro buyout clause.

The left-hander arrived in Lisbon yesterday on a private jet, underwent the necessary medical tests this Monday and has now been announced as a player who will report to Ruben Amorim.

“SPORTING CLUBE DE PORTUGAL – FUTEBOL, SAD (hereinafter Sporting SAD) informs, in accordance with the conditions and in order to comply with the information obligation arising from the provisions of Article 17 of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April, that it has reached an agreement with the Danish club FC Nordsjælland A/S (hereinafter FCN) on the definitive acquisition of the sporting rights of the player Konrad Harder Weibel Schandorff for a fixed sum of EUR 19,000,000.00 (nineteen million euros).
In addition, the FCN was entitled to receive an amount corresponding to 20% (twenty percent) of the added value of the future transfer, which percentage could be reduced to 10% (ten percent) at the discretion of the FCN Sporting SAD or depending on the achievement of certain individual and collective sporting objectives, up to a maximum variable amount of 3,000,000.00 euros (three million euros).
Please note that amounts related to the solidarity mechanism will be covered by the FCN.
