An 82-year-old elderly man has gone missing in Agueda and is being sought in the Valongo do Vouga area. This Sunday, the man will leave his home in Avelas de Caminho by car to the home of family members in A dos Ferreiros. Along the way, he will become disoriented and eventually get lost.
The elderly man was still calling the emergency number 112 in Cadaveira, in the Valongo do Vouga area, asking for help, but could not determine where he was.
The warning was transmitted already this morning, around 00:30, by the GNR of Arrancada do Vouga and the firefighters of Águeda. 14 operators have been mobilized for search and rescue operations. A GNR technical team and a surveillance drone were also deployed to support the search.
