Euskaraz irakurri: Aperribay Realeko president izateko aurkeztuko da berriz
Jokin Aperribay has decided to stand for re-election as president of the Royal Society.
This has been announced in Cyprus, where the team plays this Thursday against Omonia Nicosia the meeting corresponding to the fifth day of the Europa League.
The Gipuzkoan president has revealed that he will ask the shareholders to trust his team for “another four years”, since they are “eager to continue“.
Aperribay has commented that at 56 he has “strength and enthusiasm” to continue with his project. “It’s a very nice moment for Real Sociedad in which everyone’s commitment can push the club to look to high levels and win prizes. We have to do it from a balanced and sustainable point of view and that’s what we’ll try to do if we continue to in front of the Board of Directors”, he said.
The current txuri-urdin president believes that they have “a very important project in Zubieta” on their hands and that “together” they have to “know how to face what remains.” He has also made it clear that he will not spend the entire decade of the 20s at the head of the club.
The election of the president of the Royal Society will take place in the general meeting of shareholders to be held next November 29th at the Kursaal and which will be convened this Friday, including the renewal of the Board of Directors as one of the items on the agenda.
Jokin Aperribay was first elected as president in 2008, with the club in the Second Division and significant bankruptcy debt. If he is elected he will serve his fourth term at the head of Real Sociedad.
