A man in his 40s was stabbed to death by another man of the same age on Saturday afternoon in a garage in Alverque, municipality of Vila Franca de Xira.

There was a misunderstanding on the spot and, according to the authorities, the alleged aggressor claimed responsibility for the crime. However, as established cmthe woman accompanying the man – the alleged aggressor – was found to have signs of violence, which aroused the suspicions of the authorities as to who had actually committed the crime.
The suspect, who allegedly stabbed the victim with a white weapon, is still at the scene.
