Bapiste Ducassou is the ratcheting hand world champion after win the final against Luis Sánchez (15-14 and 15-2) this Friday, October 28 at the Biarritz World Championship.
Ducassou won the first set with a result of 15-14so the Iparralde pelota player beat the Navarra player by just one goal. At the beginning of the second set Sánchez was injured after throwing himself to the ground and trying to get the ball to good: he hurt his shoulder, received the pertinent medical attention, and had to leave the field. TFollowing the withdrawal of Luis Sánchez, the victory in the second set corresponded to Ducassou by 15-2.
In the end, Baptiste Ducassou hung the gold medalwhile the silver went to Luis Sánchez.
Laberdesque and Driollet, champions of Xare
In the final of Xare the French Olivier Laberdesque and Bruno Driollet became world champions after beat José Ignacio Lopetegui (Irura) and Sebastián Moncada in the final in two sets (2-0).
