A 65-year-old woman died on Monday afternoon after being hit by a medium-sized tree in Lugar da Costa, Ceroa, Pacos de Ferreira.
The alarm was raised at 2:05 pm and Paços de Ferreira firefighters, supported by the Vale do Sousa medical emergency and resuscitation vehicle and an ambulance, were called to the scene.
Apparently, the victim was on the ground while her husband cut down a tree.
for what cm As it turned out, by the time the rescuers arrived, the woman had already had a cardiac and respiratory arrest, and a tree had fallen on her body.
INEM psychologists arrived at the scene to provide support to the victim’s relatives.
The corpse was taken to the Tamega-e-Suza Forensic Medicine Institute.
The GNR is investigating the circumstances of the incident.
