The Bahrain Grand Prix will be the first of a record 23 races in 2023 as fans scramble to see if anyone can knock off defending champion Max Verstappen and Red Bull’s seemingly super-fast car.
Las Vegas debuts as the penultimate Grand Prix of the year with a circuit built around the city’s famous Strip, while the Qatar Grand Prix returns in 2022 after a hiatus.
Ferrari are hoping replacing error-prone team boss Mattia Binotto with former Alfa Romeo boss Fred Wasser will give them the momentum they need to keep up with Verstappen and Sergio Pérez as they did at the start of the 2022 season.
Meanwhile, Mercedes seems confident that the W14 will outperform its ill-fated predecessor, though pre-season testing has shown that may not be the case.
What channel is F1 2023 on?
Every race this season will be available live and in full on Sky Sports F1 (Channel 406) and Sky Sports Main Event (Channel 401).
Sky is also showing qualifying matches for every race on Sky Sports F1 and all F1 broadcasts will also be available through the NOW TV app and website.
Highlights will also be available on Channel 4 in the UK on the Saturday night before qualifying and after Sunday’s race. Channel 4 also has the right to show the British Grand Prix (9 July).
