Santana Lopez vows ‘straightforward and irreverent’

Pedro Santana Lopez takes over from this Monday with a viewer CMTV, a commitment to “bluntness and irreverence” in the new space for political commentary, which is starting to subscribe to the channel’s prime time on “CM Jornal 20H”. This is the return of the former prime minister to CMTVhe was the station’s first political columnist.

“When the channel started, I left a comment weekly, but then others followed,” he begins with a recollection. “So it’s nice to be back in this house,” he says, praising the path that CMTV did from birth. He highlights the “strength” that the channel has this Monday in the television spectrum and highlights the fact that it is “everywhere”, “reaches everyone” and “influences the country”.

As for the new commentary, Santana Lopez acknowledges that the new mission is also a duty. “The political reality is so tense and tight and the obligation not to make mistakes that endanger the future is so great that I think we all have a responsibility to do our part, with the opinion we give, to ensure that we are on the right and most appropriate path. . . . “. And he says: “I like to analyze what is happening in my country, and there is something to talk about the current situation.”
