The plenary decided that the demand for an 8% wage adjustment should be sent to the administration, which has already been done, and is now awaiting a response by March 8.
On Tuesday afternoon, GMG Human Resources sent a “letter” to the group’s workers about the Executive Committee’s decision, to which Lusa had access, “following conversations with workers’ representatives and after assessing the economic and financial conditions of the business. companies.”
One solution is to “revise the food subsidy to a non-taxable maximum per day of 8.32 euros” and “this change applies to all employees and means an increase of 1.91 euros per day, that is, 29. 8% compared to the current value of the food subsidy.”
The other is to “revise the value of the lowest wage so that all employees receive a minimum total monthly remuneration of 830.00 euros (including all regular pay components, namely commissions)”.
Both decisions “come into effect on March 1, 2023 and apply to all companies in the Global Media Group.”
