The president of national football champion FC Porto, Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa, has acquired another 1,298 SAD shares, the dragons said today in a note to the Securities Market Commission (CMVM).
Wednesday’s transaction included €1,479.72, with the Blue and White leader investing 1,298 shares at €1.14 each, slightly strengthening its position in the SAD for the fifth straight month.
The president of FC Porto started by buying 7,248 shares in exchange for €6,623.20 between November and December 2022 and then repeated the process in January and February 2023 when he raised another 7,590 shares worth €7 509.70 euros.
In the first half of the 2022/23 season, 85-year-old Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa held 320,804 shares, representing 1.43% of his position, as of December 31, 2022, according to the latest SAD report and accounts submitted to CMVM.
The majority of SAD is owned directly by the club (74.59%), with businessman, former football player and former coach António Oliveira being the main individual shareholder (7.34%), followed by his brother Joaquim Oliveira through Olivedesportos society (6.68%) .
