The alleged aggressor of a seriously injured 28-year-old woman in Mirandela was detained by the Judicial Police (SP) on suspicion of attempted murder, a criminal investigation reported on Monday.
The victim is hospitalized and the events took place late Sunday afternoon at a home in that city in the Braganca area, according to information released by PJ in a statement.
The 38-year-old detainee is the partner of the woman and, according to the source, “in conditions of domestic violence, he used violence against the body of the victim, causing her serious bodily harm.”
According to the JV, the alleged aggressor is unemployed and will be present for judicial interrogation to take any coercive action they deem appropriate.
