IDK Euskotren beat Zabiny Brno 91-80 this Wednesday November 2 in San Sebastian and reaped his first victory in history in the Eurocup. Secondly, Lointek Gernika Bizkaia was defeated by Umana Reyer Venice (59-76).
For IDK Euskotren it is their debut in this competition and after the defeat on the first day, the team from San Sebastián played their first game at home, in front of their fans. The team did not fail and provided a historic victory to its fans. The local team ended the first quarter with a six-point lead, and reached halftime with a favorable score of 52-43. After the break, the Czech team closed the gap (71-65). IDK Euskotren did not get nervous despite the rival being six points behind. The team from San Sebastian was far superior in the final stretch and claimed victory (91-80).
With this victory, IDK Euskotren beats Brno in the classification of a group K in which the Basket Lattes-ASVEL Lyon remains to be played; both teams won on the first day and dispute the leadership.

Defeat of Lointek Gernika Bizkaia
Lointek Gernika Bizkaia was defeated at home by Umana Reyer Venice (59-76) in the second day of the Eurocup and lost its first game this season in European competition. The Bizkaia team showed their faces in the first half: they finished the first quarter with a four-point deficit (10-14), although Venezia increased their advantage to nine points before reaching the break (25-34). The visiting team left the victory on track in the third quarter (44-55) and rounded off their victory in the last ten minutes (59-76).
After the games played on the second day, Lointek Gernika is third in group H with a victory and a defeat balance, tied with Movistar Estudiantes, which is second. Venice leads the group with two wins and the last place corresponds to Rutronik Stars Keltern who have not won any games.
