The Portuguese Association of Large Families (APFN) demanded this Wednesday a specific housing program for families with dependent children and sent several proposals to the government in this regard, the statement said.
“Given the particularly fragile position of large families in relation to housing, the APPF considers it urgent to create a special housing program for families with dependent children, submitting a proposal this Wednesday to the government and parliament” with a number of measures in this sense, he said.
Thus, the APFN demanded “support for the acquisition, construction, renovation, or lease,” subsidized interest rates, and “the deduction of IRS interest paid on reciprocal contracts entered into to acquire permanent home ownership.”
