The helicopter crashed on a street in Sao Paulo, killing four people.

Four people died this Friday afternoon in a helicopter crash on a street in the Barra Funda area in the western part of the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo. The accident occurred near the 14th and 45th locations, 17th and 45th in Lisbon, for reasons that have not yet been clarified.

The plane crashed at the corner of two streets: Rua Pedro Luis Alves Siqueira and Rua James Holland. Firefighters sent nine vehicles to the scene, but when they arrived, they could do nothing to help the victims.

Because the situation at the scene was still very confused at the time of the news release, firefighters and police did not indicate whether all of the victims were in the helicopter or some were injured on the street. There was no rain at the time of the crash, and visibility and air navigation conditions were very good, so it is believed that the plane crashed due to some kind of technical malfunction.

A Robinson helicopter used for panoramic flights over São Paulo took off from São Paulo and was returning to the city after a trip to Guaruja, on the coast of São Paulo, and crashed less than two kilometers from the São Paulo airstrip. Campo de Marte Airport, usually used by helicopters and small executive aircraft. Eyewitnesses said the pilot, using desperate maneuvers, managed to steer the craft away from major residential and commercial buildings in the area and the busiest avenues, and attempted to land at an abandoned factory nearby, only to crash.
