Roberto Martinez’s first training session ahead of Euro 2024 qualifying

Spanish coach Roberto Martínez will have his first training session as the new national team coach on Monday, the day Portugal start preparing for their Euro 2024 qualifying debut.

The Martinez-led session is scheduled for 5:30 pm at the Cidade do Futebol, in Oeiras, with the first 15 minutes open to members of the media.

In his first challenge, the 49-year-old made his debut with Diogo Leite, and also called up Gonzalo Inacio, as well as “veterans” Pepe (40) and Cristiano Ronaldo (38).
